About this Masterclass

From voice assistants and YouTube recommendations, to self-driving cars and chatbots, artificial intelligence is changing how we live, learn, and work. But what do we mean by artificial intelligence, and how does it actually work?

In this session, students will compare how we define intelligence in humans and machines, then investigate how artificial intelligence is trained to recognise patterns, make decisions, and learn from data. Through interactive games, group activities and hands on training of their own AI model, they will discover the power, and limitations, of artificial intelligence.
