Booking

  • Free tickets can be booked by contacting the Ri Membership team or the Ri Events team
  • The Ri Membership can be contacted on +44 (0)20 7491 6588 between 9.30am and 5.30pm from Monday to Friday and by email at membership@ri.ac.uk
  • The Ri Events team can be reached on +44 (0)20 7670 2917 between 9.30am and 5.30pm from Monday to Friday and by email at events@ri.ac.uk – it is recommended that enquiries for multiple bookings are directed to the Ri Events team
  • Free tickets are distributed by email via Eventbrite

Tickets

  • The offer of three free tickets is for Ri talks only and does not include short courses, workshops, Family Fun Days, CHRISTMAS LECTURES, Discourses or ExpeRience. Discourses and ExpeRience events are already free for members
  • The offer of free tickets cannot be exchanged for another reward or used to offset the price of membership
  • Any free tickets remaining after 12 months cannot be rolled over to the following year
  • Standard event terms and conditions apply to the free tickets, including the policy on refunds. I.e. if a free ticket is claimed but then not used, and the friend or member does not provide notice of not being able to attend 48 hours before the event takes place, that free ticket cannot be claimed again later
  • The free tickets cannot be given to a guest or non-member; the named member and friend are the recipients of the free tickets

Membership

  • When a current Ri Member or Ri Member U26 refers a friend to join as a member, both friend and member each receive three free tickets to Ri talks in addition to their existing member benefits for a whole year
  • Friends can join as Ri Members and Ri Members U26 (aged 18–26) to claim the offer
  • Standard membership terms and conditions apply
  • The reward of three free tickets is valid for 12 months starting from the first day of the friend’s first year of membership
  • The existing member also has 12 months to claim their three free tickets starting from the same date, provided their membership remains valid during this time period
  • The offer is not available for Ri Young Members
  • The offer cannot be used in conjunction with other membership offers or promotions
  • The offer is valid until Friday 28 February 2020. The Ri has the right to withdraw the offer at any time.
