Royal Institution Science in Schools funded visits

We are now open to applications from schools seeking a fully-funded Science in Schools day in the 2026-27 academic year. The closing date is Friday, 5 June.

Through this annual scheme, the Ri offers free visits from our professional presenters worth £800. These are only for UK schools.

Our Science in Schools days are designed to support children’s science education, meet CPD requirements for teachers, engage families, and raise funds for your school.

This scheme is generously supported by AstraZeneca, Bain Capital Europe Children's Fund, Worshipful Company of Founders, the de Laszlo Foundation, AM McGreevy No 5 Charitable Settlement, John S Cohen Foundation, G M Morrison Charitable Trust, Chalk Cliff Trust and M&G Community Foundation, among others.
