ROYAL INSTITUTION ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)

At the Royal Institution, 21 Albemarle Street, or online

If you are a Member of the Ri you will receive an invitation to join us for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and we hope you will be able to attend. The AGM is important as it concludes our annual business year.

We welcome members attending in person to join us for a drinks reception before the AGM at 5.15pm in the Library. Members may also wish to stay on and join one of our exciting talks at 7.30pm.

If you have not received an invitation or have questions about how to join online, please contact membership@ri.ac.uk

Your vote matters

If you are an Ri Member and joining us online or in person for the AGM you will be able to vote in person or online at the event.

If you can’t attend the AGM in person or online, please register a proxy vote. You can choose the Chair of the meeting or another Ri member to vote for you if they can attend in person. It really helps us form a quorate meeting, without which we would not be able to conclude the Ri’s business for the financial year. You can do this in one of three ways:

  1. Use this link to register your proxy vote online (you will need your membership number).
  2. Complete the proxy voting form from the attachment 'printable proxy form' at the bottom of this page and email it to governance@ri.ac.uk
  3. Print the form and post to: Governance and Risk Manager, The Royal Institution, 21 Albemarle Street, London W1S 4BS.

All votes must be received no later than 9.00am on Wednesday 06 May 2026
