Fartology (Evening)

The extraordinary science behind the humble fart.

Gastronaut Stefan Gates takes you on an unforgettable, explosive journey through the bizarre chemistry, biology and physics behind our farts. Complex biochemistry is transformed into an hilarious adventure using massive bottoms, vortex cannons, vast whoopee cushions, explosions and the world’s loudest fart machine.

Discover how and why we fart, why they smell and make the noises they do, what their relationship is to poo, and why women’s farts are smellier than men’s. This is a thoroughly educational show packed with audience interaction and based on Stefan’s bestselling book Fartology.

Please note, there is a matinee and evening performance of this show on the same day.

This event is particularly suitable for ages 7+. As with all our family theatre talks, this event is designed to be enjoyed by adults and children together. All young people under the age of 13 need to be accompanied by a paying adult and those aged 4 and above need a ticket to attend.
