Public Programme Launch 2024: This thing called science

Join the Ri’s own Demo Team for the launch of the 2024 Spring programme!

Paul Wilkinson

In this exciting show, the team will look back at their favourite demonstrations from the past year, ranging from demystifying the cosmos, to trumpets and flames, plus a stunning glowing orb that won Dan Plane the Best Demo Competition! There will also be a chance to see some of the recent Christmas Lectures demos that looked at artificial intelligence and the many ways in which it is used.

They will showcase these while explaining the process of designing and developing the demos and share some behind-the-scenes stories. So, if you missed any talks from the year, or want to experience how some of the large demos from the Lectures look in the Theatre, join us for a night of fun, flames (as ever) and frivolity!
