Fingerprinting techniques have been in use for over 100 years, and knowledge is developing on both sides of the law as criminals and investigators constantly try to outsmart each other.

Fingerprints are a great way for investigators to identify a potential suspect. But, as criminals become more careful in avoiding clues that could identify them, forensic scientists need to up their game with new technologies.

Join Simona Francese and discover what fingerprints can reveal about you and how pioneering research into Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Ionisation Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-MS) can provide intelligence about criminal lifestyle, and even actions prior to or during crimes, simply from their fingerprints.
