Nick Lane is an evolutionary biochemist in the Department of Genetics, Evolution and Environment, University College London. Matthew Cobb is Professor of Zoology and a senior lecturer in animal behaviour at the University of Manchester. Together, they cover how the DNA code was cracked, how it confirmed the theory of evolution and why life evolved the way it did.
