About Renato Lulia
Renato has over 20 years' experience running global financial institutions in Europe and the Americas, both as a C-level executive and board member. He is also an investor and adviser on several tech start-ups in the UK and the US.
In addition to his commitments with the Ri, Renato is currently serving as a trustee for Fight for Peace International and as a councillor of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain. Renato is also a long-standing patron of the Science Museum and a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Strategy Officers group. He previously served as a fellow of the Institute of Directors.
A member and patron of the Ri for over eight years, Renato was appointed as Chair and Trustee member of the Finance Committee in 2022.

As a trained civil engineer and aspiring physicist, Renato is a keen reader on all science matters. He is a true believer in the power of science to benefit society, enrich culture and help enable economic prosperity.
