The Royal Institution has today announced a new partnership with ARC, a leading company supporting innovation and accelerating commercial growth in Advanced Research Centres.

The partnership will see ARC fund individual Ri Memberships for its own members – providing them with free or discounted tickets to the Ri’s Theatre and livestream talks, early access to digital content and exclusive entry into the CHRISTMAS LECTURES ticket ballot – as well as funding inspirational science demo days held at each ARC campus.

Dan Metcalfe Senior Director of Community at ARC said: “We’re really excited about our new partnership with The Royal Institution. Our clusters create the best possible environments for innovation to make a difference in the world and I can think of no finer partner to support and inspire our members than The Royal Institution. I grew up watching their CHRISTMAS LECTURES each year and am delighted that ARC is supporting their future.”

Katherine Mathieson, Director of The Royal Institution, said: “We are delighted to welcome ARC’s members to share in the benefits of Ri Membership. As Ri Members, they will join a community of like-minded people who love science, or enjoy exploration, or are just curious about the world around them. At the same time, ARC’s generous support will make a big difference to our charitable activities, helping us to connect even more people and families with science, and supporting schools from disadvantaged areas of the UK.”

ARC’s network currently consists of four clusters including Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, ARC Oxford, ARC Uxbridge, and ARC West London, home to over 300 leading science and innovation organisations and over 10,000 employees.
