Find out how you or your pupils can attend our Masterclasses
Ri Masterclasses are series of workshops which are led by STEM enthusiasts from industry, academia and education. The Masterclasses aim to inspire young people in the beauty and wonder of mathematics or computer science and to develop a sense of enjoyment in the subject. They offer pupils in-depth investigations of topics in these subjects from beyond the normal primary curriculum. We aim to include and challenge all students: from those who are already well-motivated and curious about these fields in STEM to those who are just beginning that journey.
Attendance at Masterclasses is via teacher nomination only. Teachers are invited to put forward just a few students in the relevant year-group to attend their local Masterclass series. We encourage teachers to select those who they feel will benefit most from attending and to give particular consideration to those who may not otherwise have similar enrichment opportunities. All Masterclass series include students from a number of local schools.
Students who are interested in attending Masterclasses should ask their teachers to get in touch with us. The school may already be involved in Masterclasses locally. If not, they are welcome to contact the Ri Masterclass team to find out about nearby availability.
UK Teachers should email us at email@example.com to be put in touch with their local Masterclass organiser. Please note that we do not have series in all subjects or age-groups in all areas.
All attendees at Ri Online Masterclasses must follow the Ri Masterclasses Code of Conduct:
All the information on how to take part in the Masterclasses will be supplied to participating students by their local Masterclass organiser. If you are due to attend an Online Masterclass series and have any questions, please ask your teacher or get in touch and we can pass on your enquiry.
Students near London can also attend Ri Summer Schools and Family Workshops, which are part of our Families programme. Most workshop leaders are involved in the Masterclass programme. Families who would find the cost of attending these activities difficult can apply for bursaries; details are on the events pages.
We also have an exciting programme of events covering a range of topics - see our What's on page for more information.
