Event description

Modern cosmology has allowed physicists to explain the history of the Universe from the first tiny fraction of a second until today. But what’s next?

This talk will explore how, even though we as humans have no chance of changing how it all ends, we can at least begin to understand it.

Using results from the most powerful telescopes and particle colliders, Katie Mack describes how small tweaks to our incomplete understanding of reality can result in starkly different predictions of how the Universe will end.
