What does the future have in store? How will advances in medicine, robotics, artificial intelligence, energy production and genetic engineering change the world? Join Jim Al-Khalili and a panel of horizon scanners from across the sciences for a futuristic evening of prediction, debate and discussion.

About the speakers

Jim Al-Khalili OBE is a theoretical physicist, author and broadcaster. He is the host of a the Life Scientific on BBC Four and was awarded the inaugural Stephen Hawking medal for science communication.

Find out from science writer Phil Ball about how the demographics of the future. Learn about how the climate will continue to change from former Chief Scientist of the Met Office Julia Slingo.
