‘I have had a most rare vision. I have had a dream, past the wit of man to say what dream it was.’ — Bottom, A Midsummer Night's Dream

About the speaker

Dr Caroline Horton is Senior Lecturer in Cognitive Psychology at Bishop Grosseteste University (Lincoln) and Director of “DrEAMSLab”. Caroline has been researching the relationships between sleep and memory for 13 years, using dreams to gather insight into the ways in which our memories are structured and activated whilst we sleep. Caroline has conducted more than fifty experiments in this area, published many of these and frequently presents her research at national and international events.
