Water is the most every day of substances, but on closer examination it also one of the strangest. To celebrate the launch of his latest book, Alok Jha will tell the story of this fascinating molecule which takes us back to the beginning of the Universe.

About the speaker

Alok Jha is an author, broadcaster and science journalist. After 10 years working at the Guardian, he currently works as the science correspondent at ITV News. He has also made programmes for the BBC and used to present Science Weekly, the Guardian Podcast.
