The Royal Institution Science in Schools grant scheme is now open, offering fully funded school visits worth £800.
The deadline for applications is Friday 29 January 2021.
Ri Science in Schools grants are awarded annually and offer free visits from our professional presenters worth £800.
Our Science in Schools days are designed to support children’s science education, meet CPD requirements for teachers, engage families, and raise funds for your school.
Visits funded by the Ri Science in Schools grant scheme need to take before 30th September 2021.

Please note that a COVID-safe package is currently available to ensure social distancing throughout the visit. Successful applicants may be offered an additional student show in place of the community show to avoid mixing of households.

The 2020 STEM Grants scheme is now closed.
Grants of £500 are offered annually, for schools to experience a science, technology, engineering or mathematics activity selected from the STEM Directory. This scheme is generously supported by the Clothworkers’ Foundation and the L.G. Harris Trust.
If your school was awarded a grant in the 2019/20 cycle and your STEM activity was postponed due to COVID-19, your grant is now valid until the end of July 2021. For more information, please contact schools@ri.ac.uk.
