The ballot process

Note that if there are multiple Ri Members and Ri Patrons at the same address, each member and patron can apply for a different Lecture day. We cannot guarantee you will be successful in securing tickets. Tickets will be allocated according to availability and preference.

Successful applicants will be allocated tickets to one Lecture only, based on their first available preference.
To attend the CHRISTMAS LECTURES in the theatre:

  • Each adult must be accompanied by at least one junior ticket holder.
  • Juniors (young people) must be aged 11-17 years (proof of age may be requested).

If they cannot prove they are above 11 on the night of the Lecture, they will not be admitted to the theatre and no refund will be given. People under 11 will NOT be admitted to the theatre.

Any errors made by you are your responsibility and the Ri will not be held responsible for any inconvenience caused by the entering of incorrect Lecture dates or ticket numbers, and/or the supply of incorrect personal information, nor will we offer refunds on any accidental purchases made. It is your responsibility to check this information before you submit your application and provide payment.

Applications made on behalf of a party of people

If you are applying on behalf of a party, you accept these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of your party and are responsible for all payments due from the party.

Successful applicants will be given one week to make payment. If payment is not made, your ballot application will be cancelled and the tickets reallocated. All payments will be taken by credit/debit card.
