Lectures filming

Tickets to the live filming of the CHRISTMAS LECTURES are allocated through a ballot which is open exclusively to Ri Members, Young Members and Patrons as a thank you for their support for the Ri throughout the year.

Tickets are also made available to free to schools in disadvantaged areas which the Ri has been supporting throughout the year.

For the filming of this year’s Lectures please note the following important information:

  • We are asking everyone attending the Ri on filming nights to bring proof of a negative result from a lateral flow test taken on the morning of the day of attendance. Please register your negative result on an official website, e.g. GOV.UK, and bring confirmation of that registration with you (print-out or phone).

We will be making spot-checks at our discretion

  • We are asking everyone to wear a face covering when inside the Ri, unless they are exempt. This includes the theatre, the screening rooms and all other public areas. To be most effective, face coverings should be multi-layered, close fitting and cover the mouth and nose

  • We are also encouraging every individual or group to register their presence at the Ri using one of the many track and trace QR codes available in the building

  • Please also be respectful of others in terms of social distance and make frequent use of the hand sanitiser available

As is consistent with the latest guidance our theatre will be at full capacity.
