Andy Gregson

Andy has over 30 years’ experience in business, operations, support and control functions (including finance, risk, compliance and audit) gained at an executive level in top tier organisations such as PwC and Accenture.

He has held leadership positions at both Managing Director and Partner level, including as CAO with accountability for running major Finance operations. He has a proven track record of setting and executing business strategy, establishing and maintaining governance and controls, building excellent relationships with senior stakeholders, and shaping and delivering large-scale, transformational change programmes.

More recently, Andy has built successful consulting practices supporting a number of major client organisations as an independent consultant, principally advising in the areas of risk, compliance and control.

He is currently a Patron, Trustee and non-executive member of the Audit Committee at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, and was previously Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Finance (Risk and Audit) Committee at Dyslexia Action.

Andy holds an honours degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Birmingham and began his career as a development engineer with the UK Atomic Energy Authority.

Andy is married with three children. Interests and hobbies include cycling and road sports, following Newcastle United and spending time with friends and family.
