Students will extract their own DNA and walk away with a small piece of it in a necklace for them to wear.
Working in a real science lab students and using their own cheek cells, students will extract their DNA using enzymes and use ethanol to separate it from the solution, ready to transfer into their own necklace
This workshop is a great early introduction to enzymes and DNA.
This workshop is strictly for 10–12 year-olds only.
