A new field of collective intelligence has emerged in the last few years, prompted by a wave of digital technologies that make it possible for organizations and societies to think at large scale. Gathering insights from diverse fields, including philosophy, computer science, and biology, Geoff Mulgan will reveal how collective intelligence can guide corporations, governments, universities, and societies to make the most of human brains and digital technologies.
Geoff Mulgan is Chief Executive of Nesta, and has been in post since 2011. He is an adviser to many governments around the world and from 2016 Geoff is co-chair of a new World Economic Forum group looking at innovation and entrepreneurship in the fourth industrial revolution.
The doors will open at approximately 6.30pm, with a prompt start at 7.00pm. There will be time for questions after the talk.
Latecomers will be admitted to the gallery.
