Please note, this is an adults-only event. You must be 18 years or older to book.

Dinner and a drink included

This luxurious evening experience will include a drink in the Georgian Room and a multi-course meal in the Library, accompanied by a range of intriguing sensory experiences, all led and interpreted by Professor Charles Spence.

About the speakers

Charles Spence is the head of the Crossmodal Research Laboratory at Oxford University. He is interested in how people perceive the world around them. In particular, how our brains manage to process the information from each of our different senses (such as smell, taste, sight, hearing, and touch) to form the extraordinarily rich multisensory experiences that fill our daily lives.

Book signing

Following the event, there will be an opportunity to Charles's new book, Gastrophysics, and have it signed by the author.
