New Scientist presents: 'The Tomorrow Club' at the Barbican, from Thursday 15 June, 7.30pm
Join New Scientist for a series of four conversations exploring themes from the Barbican’s genre-defining exhibition, 'Into the unknown: A journey through science fiction'. Hear leading scientific and cultural figures discuss how today’s cutting-edge ideas, discoveries and inventions inspire the literature, art and games of tomorrow – and vice versa.
Speakers range from the likes of Matt Smith, editor-in-chief of 2000 AD, to geneticist and author Adam Rutherford, presenter of the BBC's 'Inside science'. Each talk costs £25 and includes a ticket to the exhibition (usually £14.50).
Ri Members and Ri Patrons will also receive a complimentary copy of 'Einstein’s Universe', from 'New Scientist: The collection', along with an issue of the magazine. Simply present your ticket and membership card at the Frobisher Auditorium 1 Box Office when attending your talk to redeem the offer.
