Find out how you or your pupils can attend our Masterclasses
Masterclass organisers invite nearby schools to nominate students for their local Masterclasses. Teachers are asked to put forward just a few students in the relevant year-group. We encourage teachers to select those who they feel will benefit most from attending - those who have interest and curiosity in the subject, a determination to explore, but also who may not otherwise gain opportunities for this type of extracurricular enrichment.
Students attend a complete series of Masterclasses, allowing them to experience a range of mathematical, engineering and computer science topics and develop their knowledge and understanding throughout the series.
Since students must be nominated by their schools, it is important to contact the school first to find out if they are, or have been, involved in Masterclasses nearby. If they have not been in contact with a local group, they are welcome to contact the Ri Masterclass team to find out about nearby availability.
If you are keen to nominate students but have not already been in contact with a local group, please email the Masterclass team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Where possible, we will put you in contact with nearby organisers. Our networks are continually expanding, and new groups start each year.
You can visit our resources section for some masterclass-style activities to use in your own teaching.
The workshops were highly interactive, using everyday resources in exciting ways. The activities gave me lots of ideas on how I could improve my lessons in class.

Masterclasses always encourage me to try new things and to be aware of post-Primary maths awaiting the children I work with.
