Thanks to the generosity of companies, charitable trusts and individuals,
we are already some way towards our fundraising targets, but there
is still a great deal of money to raise. All donations, large and
small are deeply appreciated. The Royal Institution is a registered charity – our
charity is number 227938.
- Thanks to a change in legislation, all donations to registered charities
can be made tax efficiently through a simple Gift Aid declaration
- which will not cost you anything. To complete a Gift Aid form
please follow this link.
Stocks and shares are now included in the Gift Aid scheme, and
can be offset against personal or Corporation Tax liabilities.
- Higher rate taxpayers can also gain benefits against their annual
tax assessment. Donations can be made in a number of ways, but
regular support through banker’s standing order is particularly
appreciated, and one Gift Aid declaration can cover all future
donations.
