When the renowned neurosurgeon Henry Marsh first visited Kiev in 1992, he found the medical conditions appalling. Since then he has returned frequently to create a viable clinic using discarded NHS equipment. Geoffrey Smith's powerful, moving and award-winning documentary follows Henry as he battles to save the lives of the patients. The film features exclusive access to the KGB hospital in Kiev and original music composed and performed by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis. Henry Marsh will be present for a special Q&A session after the screening.
