The Ri has played a key role in the development of the modern world. There have been 14 Nobel Prize winners who have worked at the Ri, as well as 10 elements discovered here. But the Ri has also been famous as a place to discover and discuss the world around us. Most of the greatest scientists from the last 200 years have at one time or another appeared in our famous theatre.
In this event we celebrate just a handful of the characters in the story of the Ri. It will be a highly interactive exploration of some of the world-changing science that's happened at the Ri since 1799.
Tickets are free to Ri Full/Faraday Members, £4 Associate Members and £8 guests.
Make a night of it! Come for a cocktail or something delicious, modern and British to eat in the bar. ‘Time & Space’ at the Ri has the perfect atmosphere for a casual night out. Time & Space: cafe, bar and restaurant
