In keeping with the tradition we started last year, the current Christmas Lecturer, Dr Peter Wothers will deliver the after dinner speech about his experience giving the 2012 series 'The Modern Alchemist'. Royal Institution Trustee and Distinguished Scientist at Microsoft Research, Prof Christopher Bishop will chair the evening in the presence of our President HRH The Duke of Kent.
We are delighted to give Fellows this exclusive opportunity, not only to discuss the Christmas Lectures with Dr Wothers, but to meet each other and welcome new Fellows.
The evening will commence at 6.30pm with a drinks reception in the Georgian Room followed by a three-course dinner with wine in the Library from 7.30pm. The dress code is black tie.
Tickets for the evening are available for £250 per couple or £150 for an individual place (guests are welcome). Proceeds from the evening will help fund our activities, inspiring the next generation of scientists.
