Are there limitations to science? Peter Medawar famously thought so, and others have supposed that science cannot poke its nose into the various sensitive spots of a supposed spiritual world. But is that in fact the case?
In this talk, Prof Peter Atkins examines several of the great questions of existence to see whether science is confronted by a brick wall, and if not, then what it reveals.
