- 1pm-2pm
- Lecturers: Dr Suzie Sheehy
Join Dr Suzie Sheehy as she pushes and pulls at the very limits of science to find out how to make things go really fast. Explore different forces with the help of an egg, an explosion and some electricity, and try to answer the question "how fast is fast?" There will be lots of chances to get involved and see if you can get up to speed!
Tickets are £1.50 per person. We charge a small fee for schools events to help discourage non-attendance and provide income to invest back into our schools programme. Why not make the most of your visit and look around our museum at the same time?
Please note, this event is designed for school groups aged 7-11. Home educators are welcome to bring their school age children. However, pre-school children aged 4 and under cannot be admitted into the theatre and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times whilst in the building. Please see our full terms and conditions (including consent to being filmed) before booking.
