Carol Turley

Dr Carol Turley has over 30 years experience in marine research with over 100 research papers and a similar number of reports. She was a member of The Royal Society Working Group on Ocean Acidification and was a Lead Author on the 2007 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 4th Assessment Report on Climate Change. She is a member of the Executive Board of the European Project on Ocean Acidification and the UK Carbon Capture and Storage Consortium and a member of the UK Research Council's Energy Programme Science Advisory Committee. She has developed a focus on linking science to policy and has provided scientific evidence to national and international stakeholders involved with climate change, biodiversity and energy policy.
