Tying in with our temporary exhibition ‘Crossing over', this event will provide an opportunity for you to hear how artists and scientists have each inspired each other to look at their work in a different light.
Featuring two of the artists involved in the exhibition, Anne Brodie and Tobie Kerridge and the scientists that they have worked with in order to produce their artworks, including Dr Simon Park, this event will explore how two seemingly disparate disciplines have come together to produce some very beautiful and provocative artworks.
Through an informal conversation, facilitator Dr Mark Lythgoe will draw out what drives each of the contributors in their relative professions, what inspired them to work together, and what the finished pieces mean to them.
