Botanist Madeline Harley is Head of the Palynology Unit (Jodrell Laboratory) at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. She is internationally recognised for her work, which is mainly concerned with the study of species specific pollen characteristics in the field of flowering plant evolution and relationships.
