    Conductive thread

Make it

Annoyed that your lovely warm gloves don’t play nicely with your smartphone? With a little conductive thread you can solve the problem – never again expose your fingers to the cold just to send a quick text. As our previous infographic showed, most modern phone touchscreens rely on the conductive properties of your finger. Gloves tend to act as a barrier between your finger and the screen, meaning that your touches don’t have an effect.

By sewing some conductive thread through the finger pads, you can bridge the gap and make the gloves touchscreen compatible. Make sure you leave plenty of thread loose inside the glove so that a strong connection can be made with your finger, and position the sewed section on the part of the finger that you most frequently touch the screen with.
