Zofia is a Paper Conservator at the RI focusing on conservation survey of the archival collection. The survey is part of the Heritage and Collections Department long term plan to assess and preserve the RI’s important collection for future generations.
Zofia Wyszomirska-Noga MA, ACR graduated in 2003 from Academy of Arts, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland where she gained an MA in Conservation and Restoration of Paper and Leather. Since 2004 she has been working in London as a freelance paper conservator and artist, and worked as the senior paper conservator for Conservation Company Plowden and Smith Ltd between 2005 and 2013. She is accredited by Icon and works in both the private and public sector as Noga Conservation, specializing in art conservation, preventive conservation, consultancy and onsite collections care including handling and storage.
