The Ri is delighted to launch a re-designed website with a wealth of new content.

Our new and improved online home will help us meet our mission of encouraging more people to think further about the wonders and applications of science and to showcase all the events, activities and resources the Ri has to offer.

We have also significantly expanded the range and type of content available on our site. Our online visitors can now learn more about the Ri’s rich heritage, delve even deeper into our Collection, find out what’s going on behind-the-scenes at the Ri through our blog and keep up to date with all our latest news.

The Ri runs hundreds of public, family and schools events and masterclasses in our famous lecture theatre, the L'Oréal Young Scientist Centre and across the country each year, and these can all be viewed and booked via our new What’s on calendar.

If you can’t join us in person, we’ll be videoing more of our events for publication on the Ri Channel, a growing repository of the best of science videos from across the web with more than 3 million views from all over the world. We will also be delving into our archives to bring you the pick of our past recordings, including the back catalogue of CHRISTMAS LECTURES.

Plus, you can now take the Ri with you wherever you go. With more and more people accessing online content from mobiles or tablets this new site is designed to work across multiple browsers, devices and screen sizes.

It is now easier than ever to support the work of the Ri by becoming a member, donating online or purchasing a gift membership through our website.

We would love to hear what you think about our new online home and any suggestions you may have about how we can continue to improve how we communicate and engage with the general public, our members, supporters and partners. If you have any comments or questions, please drop us a line at media@ri.ac.uk or tweet us at @ri_science.

We are grateful to the Bureau for Visual Affairs (http://www.bureau-va.com) - the clever folk behind the Ri Channel - for their support in designing and building the site.
