After the great success of our first ever adult-only Ri Lates last October, we are excited that the second event of its kind, Questioning Reality, is in less than 3 weeks. If you have ever felt that kids get to have all the fun with science and that adults miss out, this is the event for you!

Join us at our historic home in Albemarle Street, Mayfair for an evening of mind-boggling fun. Delve deep into the subconscious of the mind… Can we trust what we perceive to be out there in reality? What happens when our brain is telling us something else? And why is it that some people see the dress as white and gold while others see it as blue and black?

Ri Lates: Questioning reality takes place on Friday 17 April and will allow you to fool your taste buds, listen with your eyes, get your hands on a brain and have a go on an occulus rift rollercoaster to deceive your body with virtual reality.

Please note

Please note this event is for over 18s only.

This night has kindly been supported by the British Psychological Society, and we’ll have activities from the Society of Biology, the Royal Veterinary College, University College London, Science London, Go8Bit, Imperial College London, Queen Mary University of London and the University of Nottingham.

Talking the same format as our Family Fun Days, this event is all about experimentation and exploration, getting grown-ups excited about science! At Lates events, you will be able to take part in experiments, listen to engaging talks in our famous lecture theatre,, take part in creative activities and make things to take home.

Our activities and workshops will let you discover answers first-hand. And as part of this eclectic social night, food and drink stands will be located throughout the building so you can experiment, question, explore and create all evening.

Last time the event was extremely popular so book now to avoid disappointment!
